What is Agrinova
Agrinova is an agricultural company which has been established in one of the leading pear-growing zones on the border between Ferrara and Bologna, in the hamlet of Gallo. It has been in operation since 1997, and boasts a cultivated surface area of approx. 50 hectares with its own warehouse.
Its orchards are entirely given over to the cultivation of Abate, Kaiser, Decana and William pears.
Ongoing quality control and the best integrated pest control procedures go to assure high standards, both in terms of the appearance and taste of the fruit.
The company, that is currently in the process of acquiring Eurepgap certification, has set its goal as being the production of over 2,000 tons of fruit by 2010. |
