A BOTANICAL GARDEN AT THE POMPEI ARCHAELOGICAL SITE
All the species that were cultivated as far back as the period of ancient Pompei, from fruit trees to vegetable garden plants, will also be gracing the new Roman botanical gardens from 1st March 2007. Featuring an area of over 800 square metres cultivated with botanical species of millenniums ago, including fruit trees such as pear and apple trees, fig trees, medicinal and sacred plants. » |
