Frutti Battaglio - Limone

Lemon

Origin:South Africa, Argentina, Spain

Varieties:Primofiore, Eureka, Verna

Lemons can be described as a hybrid fruit, located between grapefuiit and cedar, but over the centuries they have become a species in their own right.

The lemon belongs to the Rutaceae family, and the lemon tree has the virtually unique trait of constant flowering: we can therefore see flowers, unripe fruit and ripe fruit on the tree at the same time.

Our varieties

PRIMOFIORE

This variety has an elongated shape and is medium to large in size, with a strong taste, high acidity and a very high yield in terms of juice. The skin is relatively thin and rich in aromatic essential oils.

EUREKA

One of the most widespread lemon varieties. The skin is quite thick, slightly wrinkled and not particularly easy to separate from the pulp. It is extremely juicy, with a tender pulp that has no seeds.

VERNA

Verna is the second most cultivated variety in Spain. The fruit, medium in size and oval in shape, has a thick, quite wrinkled skin, and juicy pulp with few seeds.
